International Pharmaceutical Website Evaluation & Development – 2006
· To provide feedback on the usability, content and functionality of an international pharmaceutical website in 3 European markets - and languages - from both professional and consumer target audiences
Method
· 40 x face-to-face 1-2-1 accompanied surfs and interviews with consultants, nurses and patients in each of France, Germany and Netherlands. Respondents accessed the websites via broadband-equipped PCs.
Example findings
· “There is no clear convention applied to colouring of on-page links. The colour orange often depicts a link - but not always. Sometimes links are underlined, sometimes they are not. This resulted in some participants clicking on simple orange text headers, assuming they were links…”
· “Participants often did not see the icons (.pdf/Flash) that allowed them to open a demonstration or download information…”
